MILFORD SOUND
TOO FEW FACILITIES COMPLAINT BY VISITOR DOMINION'S SCENIC BEAUTIES By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received January 24, 5.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 24 Tourists who returned to Sydney by the Wanganella were generally eulogistic about the scenic beauties of New Zealand. Sir Hugh Dcnison said the Tourist Department's arrangements at Milford Sound were disappointing. There were not sufficient launch facilities for passengers. The fiord, he said, surpassed the Norwegian fiords and tiio north-west passage, Alaska.
Sir Samuel Walder praised the reconstruction work at Napier.
