HAMILTON BAND CONTEST
RECORD NUMBER OF ENTRIES [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Tuesday Seven B grade and six C grade bands have entered for, the first South Auckland Brass Band Union's contest, to be held at Hamilton in April. The entries constitute a record for provincial band contests. The B grade bands include Hamilton, Thames, Rotorua, Tauranga, Te Aroha, Waihi and Te Awamutu, while the C grade bands are Whakatane, Ngaruawahia, Morrinsville, Pukekohe, Cambridge and Te Kuiti.
