SYMPATHY IN AUCKLAND
MESSAGE BY WATERSIDERS Immediately they received news of the tragedy officials of the Auckland "Wa ter " side Workers' Union sent a message of sympathy to the Napier union. "Please convey this union's heartfelt sympathy to relatives of members who were lost in the disaster," read the message, which was despatched by the secretary of the Auckland union to the secretary of the Napier body. The Auckland union, " together with, other unions in the New Zealand Waterside Workers! Federation, will be/represented at the funeral of those victims whose bodies have been-found.
