ORDERS FOR AIRCRAFT
A GIANT AUTOGYRO BOMBING MACHINES FOR PERSIA (Received December 28, 9.45 p.m.) . LONDON, Dec. 28 The Air Ministry has ordered a fiveseater autogyro, the biggest of its type yet built. The Daily Herald says that the Persian Government has ordered three squadrons of two-seater bombing aeroplanes, to cost £200,000, from the Hawker Company. ■ Although they will be similar to the Royal Air Force bombers, they will probably be 20 miles an,hour slower.
