[by TELEGRAM —OWN correspondent] PALMERSTON NORTH, Wednesday The Manawatu Racing Club's Summer Meeting will be concluded at Awapuni to-morrow. The fields are smaller than on . the first two days, but there should again be good racing. Practicably no rain has fallen during the meeting and 10-day is warm and fine. The track will again be firm and fast, enabling horses to ran to form. The following may be well backed in their engagements:— Tiritea HighrWeight.—Holly Holm, Btambletorn. STRATFORD MEETING In connection with the Stratford Racing Club's annual meeting, to be held next Monday and" Tuesday, the club has arranged 'with the Public Works Department for a special train on Monday from Okahukura to Tahora, connecting there with the Railway Department's service.
