ADVERTISING PROPOSALS EXPENDITURE IN DOMINIONS [from our own correspondent] LONDON, Nov. 1 Tea planters in Ceylon have icalised the necessity for advertising and have set up a Tea Propaganda Board. At the inaugural meeting, held at Colombo a week or two ago, tentative proposals were submitted for a publicity campaign in various parts of the world. Mr. G. h. Stewart., of the Ceylon Estates Proprietary Association, wtis elected chairman. The question of the amount of tax was discussed, and it, was decided that.an initial levy be made of 50 ceni,s per 1001b. of tea exported, which, on the basis of the 1931 exports, would provide an annual income of approximately s.JI,UUU.
