Birkenhead Presbyterians / Iho minister, the Rev. I'. J. WainTvright. who presided at. the annual meeting of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church "t Birkenhead, commended the splendid Vrork done during a difficult year, and the sacrifices made by the whole congregation in carrying on the work of the church. In presenting the session report, the clerk, Mr. R. McCracken, reviewed the Work of the large parish, which included Birkenhead, Glenfield, Albany, Beach llaven and Bnkdale. The membership at Birkenhead had increased, and there had been larger congregations at Albany. Ihe financial statement submitted by the treasurer, Mr. A. Campbell, showed that Hie ordinary contributions of the congregations had been larger, although all Assembly assessments had not been met. *3 he energetic efforts of the ladies' guild had been responsible for raising the net fc'mi of £69 during the year. Hie following were elected as the committee of management for the ensuing year:—Mesdames 11. V. Dayman and L. Bland,/ Miss J- Geddes, Messrs. H. V. Dayman, J. Taft, B. W. Dingley, J. W. Irvine, 11.
