NOTED LECTURER'S ViSIT Great interest is being taken in the two free lectures on Christian Science which are to be given 111 Auckland by Mr. Ralph 15. Scholfield, of London, the first in His Majesty's Theatre to-night and the second in the Town Hall on Thursday evening. The Board of Lectureship of The Mother Church iu Boston. Massachussets, was instituted by 51rs. Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science, for the express purpose of presenting this rcT'gion to tite public. With this object in view, a stall of 24 fully qualified lecturers is maintained, and each of tho 2592 branch churches and societies throughout the world has the privilege of calling upon tho Board of Lectureship for at least one lecture annually. Lectures have to be submitted to the Christian Science Board of .Directors, the governing body of tho Christian Science Organisation, for approval, before they may bo delivered in public.
