WIFE SECURES DIVORCE

A dissolution of her marriage with Ernest Richard Pemberton Pigol.t, tea planter, of Calcutta, on the grounds of desertion, was sought by Leocadia Mario Pigott (Mr. Inder) in the Supreme Court yesterday, before Mr. Justice Smith. It w;fs stated that the parties were married in Tasmania in 1915 and they subsequently went to India. There, were two children. In 1919 respondent became unemployed and was unable to provide for the children. He suggested thai petitioner should return to her parents in Auckland. This she did, respondent remaining in India, where he was at X'reseiit. Since 1919 she had received only £3OO from her husband.
The Court granted a decree nisi, to be ®ado absolute in three months.
