LADY SWIMMER'S ALLEGATION
In connection with the complaint by Miss M. O'Meara, the Auckland swimmer, that during the Olympic Games in Los Angeles sho was discourteously treated by the manager of the New Zealand team, Mr. P. N. Rundle, who, she alleged, had refused to obtain visitors' privileges for her, the New Zealand Swimming Council advised tho Auckland Centre last evening to seek an explanation from Mr. Rundle himself. However, the centre decided to request the New Zealand Olympic and Empiro Games Association to obtain this explanation from Mr. Rundle. Furthermore, it was decided to notify Mr. Rundle of the action being taken by the centre, and to send him a copy of the centre's letter to the Olympic Council.
