OPOTIKI CLUB'S RACES
[by telegraph—own correspondent] OPOTIKI, Monday Tho Opotiki Rowing Club held its first, races of tho season at the week-end. trial fours being held. There was good racing and closo finishes. Results were:—First race: Hickey (stroke), V. Mulliern, H. Burgess, J. Pipe, heat Mansell (stroke), L. Smith, McGuiro, L. Clark, by a length. race; W. Audney, A. Kelly, J. Keljjjiv, T. Keller, beat P. Fox, J. Dotiner. Hill. " . Audney, by a length. Third race: T. Hickey beat T. Selwyn. B. Mulhern. A. Jephson, B. Wolfenden, by a length. Final: T. Hickey beat P. Fox by a clear length.
