MISSION IN SUDAN
THE AUCKLAND BRANCH An eventful year was reported at the annual meeting of the Auckland branch of the Sudan United Mission last evening. The work of the mission has gone steadily forward. The treasurer's statement, presented by Mr. E. K. Rimmer, showed that £559 had been received during the year. Mr. Rimmer stated that this was £25 in excess of last year's receipts, and that about £IOO additional had been received since tho books closed at the end of October.
The following officers were elected:— President, tlio Rev. W. Walker; vicepresidents, Mr. S. Barry and Mr. H. G. Fountain; honorary secretary, Mr. W. R. Flookings; honorary treasurer, Mr. J. D. McNaughton; council members, Mr. and Mrs. 11. T. Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. E. Iv. Rimmer, Mm. J. D. McNaughton, Miss Grantham, and Messrs. G. F. Inglis, K. M. Griffin, A. S. Colvin, G. E. Winsom, C. H. Treadgold, W. Common, and C. Leadley.
