RAILWAYMEN'S WAGES
TROUBLE OVER REDUCTION
THREAT OF REFUSING DUTY

The railwaymen threaten that if the contemplated wage cut is put into operation they will refuse to work trains between Quorn and Alice Springs. About 800 men are affected by the cut of Is 3d a day.
