The nnnibt r of cows tested showed an increase of 6604 and was 14,434 greater than the number tested in September, ,1930. The returns wore as follows, those for September of last year being given in parentheses :~-Cows tested, 80.416 (73,812) ; average milk yield, 7291b {6031b) j average (est, 4.10 (4.16); average btiUor fat yield, 29.921b (23.471b).
