FIXED DEPOSITS
RATES TO BE REDUCED COMMONWEALTH BANK (Received October 2D, 12..i0 a.m.) SYDNEY. Oct. 28 The Commonwealth Bank Board has decided to reduce, as from November 1, the rates on fixed deposits by one-quarter per cent. There will be a similar reduction on Savings Bank deposits of between £SOO and £ISOO.
