! AWARDS AT WHANGAREI [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI. Friday The North Auckland Kennel Club's show commenced to-day in "Whangarei and will conclude to-morrow. There was a good entry of dogs, including a number from Auckland. The largest entries are in the Alsatian class, which will be judged to-morrow. The outstanding dog in the show was Crossfel Floss, an English setter, exhibited by Mr. I>. Kerr, of Maungatapers. The principal awards were as follows: Cocker Spaniels.—-G. Wilding's Bow, winner of five classes and challenge trophy, and cup for best cocker in show. Bulldogs.—C. W. D. Griffith's Peggy. Sinclair trophy, for best bulldog bitch puppy in show: Mrs. Young's King Baron. Best male bulldog puppy in show: Dog 3, J. W. Cumming's Broom Park Boy; bitches, W. H. Sclirn fit's Glynn Taff Peggy. _ Collie Dogs.—Mrs. Jensen's British Mack. Schipperkes.—Bitches: Mr. and Mrs. Marshall's Kilmarnock Rapture. Fox Terriers, Smooth.—Dogs: H. K. Mays Whangarei Storm; lan Campbell's Norfolk Glon, winner of the children's class. Bitches: L. E. Smith's Lady Min, and cup for best i.ox terrier puppy in show. Wirehcired: A. J3. McMahon's Belmont Laddie, and cup for best wire-haired fox terrier in eliow. „ . Airedale Terriers.-—Dogs: L. Copeland I Peter the Great '* . English Setters.—Bitches: D. Kerr a Crossfel Floss, and best English setter in show. , ~ ' Kins Charles Spaniels.—Doers: Mr. and Mrs. Marshall's Ashton More Vagabond, best toy dog in show, and winner of toy dog stakes. Bitches: Mr., and Mrs. Marshall's Kilmarnock Lady. Pekinese.— Dogs: Mrs. A. S. Bedford 3 Tula Bumble Bee; Mr. and Mrs. Marshall'* Kilmarnock Hung Pao.
