GIRLS' SPORTS
PRELIMINARY HEATS TO-DAY The preliminary heats for the single events n.t the annual sports-of the Auckland Girls' Athletic Association will be decided at the association's grounds. Eemuera. at 2.30 this afternoon. The sports will be held ■next Saturday. Besides the heats this afternoon, there will also be ft grand rehearsal of rhythmical display,' grand polonaise and fancy uiarchinz. Three hundred girls will take part, including 16 teams, eight of which represent factories.
