TAUPIRI BOY SCOUTS
[from our own correspondent] TAUPIRI, Friday The annual meeting of the Taupiri Boy Scout Committee was held last evening, a large number of parents and friends being present. Ihe "following officers were elected : Patron, Mr. N. Wilson; president, Mr. F. C. Day; vice-presidents, Messrs. S. A. Clarke. T. Eagleson, P. Drink water and W. Gumming; secretary and treasurer, , Mr. H. Wilson; committee, Mesciames N. Wilson, L. Lovell, Powell senr., C. C. Watts, W. Waring, E. P. Japper, F. C. Day, A. Button, Messrs. G. Walter, C. C. Watts, T. Ileehie, T. Eagleson, F. Durbridge, E. P. Tapper. L. Lovell. At the end of the business the scouts, under Scoutmaster A. Burton, gave an interesting demonstration of scout work.
