OUR DUTCH PEN-FRIEND
I received this, week a very nice little letter from our Dutch pen-friend, Mary Kiss, of Sassenheim, Holland. She says she has received no fewer than 150 letters and 35 papers in response to the letter we published some months ago. But just listen to this! She writes: "Please tell to the girls and boys that I cannot answer all the letters in one time, but I will send to all a picture card or a letter. And please tell to them that they must put a stamp of on their letters to Holland, for I have had to pay an extra postage of nearly £2 for ail that 150 letters! Thank to all who have written to me, and I will try to answer their nice letters." Poor Mary! It is too bad that she should have had to pay all that money, and I do hope that any of you who may be writing again will remember that the postage is 2£d!
