ERRAND BOY'S PLUCK
Climbing 100 ft. up a quarry at Llandudno Junction, David Willianjj, 16, » grocer's boy, rescued a youth recently from a precarious position on a ledge. The youth, one of a number from the Birmingham Saturday Holiday Home at Tynycoed, got to within 20ft. of the top, and when he found himself in danger shouted for help • Without the slightest hesitation Williams dropped his bicycle on the roadside, ran to the quarry and climbed up Ito the side of the youth, helped him to safety and then rode back to his shop. When a resident rang up Williams' employer some time afterward to mention the boy's exploit his employer said that Williams had not mentioned it.
