After a week's vigil on ths beaph where his son was drowned while bathing in the North of England recently, William Curvren, an unemployed mirier, went home for a rest. Since his son disappeared he had lived on the beach —he took a tent tlipre and said he would not move until tlm bov was found. Meals were taken to him by neighbours. At midnight, during his brief absence, his son's body was Washed ashore*
