COOKERY COMPETITION
WAYS WITH STRAWBERRIES LAST ENTRIES RECEIVED NEW CONTEST ON MONDAY The No. 15 competition for three unusual recipes in connection with strawberries, these to incluclo a conserve, a filling for cakes and a sweet, closed last evening. The fact that this most dclectablo fruit is now in season has added a special interest to the contest, and some particularly interesting entries have been received. These should prove helpful to the housekeeper who is keen lo add to the attractiveness of her meals for the family. Judging by present indications strawberries promise to bo both cheap and plentiful and in such conditions should bo made the most of. Few fruits surpass them in their beneficial effects. The results of the competition will be announced in next Wednesday's issuo oi the Heuald and the conditions of the new contest will be published on Monday.
