An Outstanding Performance by an Amateur with a New World Gas Cooker This Letter ■ i Actual Photo, of Cake when finished, not lne'fudlngr extra centre-piece. 18 Huntingtree Avenue, SANDRINGHAM, October 25th, 1932. Manager, Auckland Gas Co. _ Dear Sir,— The " New World " Gas Cooker with Regulo Control which was installed by you last month has given every satisfaction and no trouble whatever. Bread, cakes, and sponges have turned out to perfection, the heat in the Oven being very even and regular, i recently had occasion to bake a Wedding Cake, and it called for a full capacity oven. Four cakes were baked together, the larger being twelve pounds in weight; in all, over thirty pounds of cake was baked at once. The oven was heated, the Regulo was set, and without further worry or trouble they baked off to perfection. The oven was never opened for three hours, when the smaller cake was found to be perfectly and evenly finished. The photo will •no doubt give you some idea of the capabilities of the Stove. The Regulo is a big improvement in gas cooking, and the " New World" Stove has proved itself a reliable cook. I was so pleased with this last effort I thought it would be appreciated if I wrote acquainting you of the fact. lam neither a -cook nor chef by profession; on the contrary, purely an amateur.
