WOMEN ON THE LAND
Sir,—May I strongly support the excellent letter of "Isobel on the Land?" Surely it is time the depressing theory that "Woman's place is in the, home" was given decent burial. Woman's place is where she can make it, and if she can make it doing healthful outdoor work, profitable both to herself and her country, let her be given everys encouragement. The "agricultural bias" is strongiy advocated at present. Women did excellent work on the land during the war. They could do the same now&in these "savage wars of peace." Health with Wealth.
