GAZETTE NOTIFICATION [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WELLINGTON, Friday Notification is given in the Gazette of the cancellation of several awards, as the result of the failure of conciliation proceedings. Each will expire one month from the date on which the conciliation commissioner notified the clerk of awards of the failure to reach agreement. The awards affected are:—Northern district (except Gisborne) fish trade employees, expiry date, October 26; northern wickerworkers, October 27; Auckland wholesale hardware assistants, November 2; Canterbury district section of freezing works and related trades, November 3; Marlborough section of same award, November 10.
