VICTORY FOR McCONACHY LINDRUM LEADS DAVIS LONDON, Oct. 26 Clark MrConaehy (New Zealand), with a total score of 10,001, beat Tom Newman (England), 9893, in a billiards inatrli, which was commenced on October 18. It was a thrilling finish, as McCOnaehy began Ihe filial session 200 points behind, .and nearly made' them up at the outset with a break of 187. Twelve minutes before time, with a run of 287, the New Zealarider established a lead of 250. Newman gave, himself an outside chance by scoring 160 in eight, minutes. Then lie missed a simple red " loser." Walter Lindrum (Australia), has scored 14,468 to 14,375 by Joe Davis (England), after giving the latter a*start of 3000 points.
