DAYLIGHT SAVING

Sir, —My opinion on the Daylight Saving Act is very decided, that I would like to see Mr, Sidey consigned to the deepest dungeon at Mount Eden for being —or, so persistent. The Act compels the hard-working farmer and fisherman to lose halt an hour of well-earned sleep that the sports may have half an hour more recreation in the evenings. One man's food is another man's poison, and while daylight saving might, suit an industrial country like England, the conditions here in New Zealand are very different. Finnan.
