LOSSES OP SHEEP
50,000 IN ONE DISTRICT It is estimated that the recent rains caused the loss of about 50,000 newlyshorn sheep in the Tamworth Pastures Protection Board district, New South Wales. Hardly one holding escaped. Some of the percentage losses were very high, and several flocks were almost wiped out.
