TRIBUTE TO MINISTER
[from oue own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE. Thursday Cordial appreciation of the service! of the Rev. P. Geary, who has been acting as locum tenens for Archdeacon G. G. Ilell, vicar of Cambridge, during the last 10 months, was expressed at a social gathering in the Parish Hall last evening. Over 200 parishioners, from all parts of the large parish, attended. In making a presentation of a wallet of banknotes to Mr. Cleary, Mr. Stopfoid said that Mr. Cleary had come to the parish in most trying circumstances, and had achieved great success, btoth spiritually and socially. m,.. *,• Air. C. Bovce presented; Miss Mary Cleary with a token of appreciation on behalf of the Girls' Club. In returning thanks, Mr. Cleary said he had received great encouragement from the people of Cambridge and, thanks to the wonderful climate of Cambridge, his health had greatly improved.
