£>ir, —With reference to the remarks of the member for Grey Lynn, I would suggest that he read Harold Bcgbio s immortal poem "Britons Beyond the Seas," the first verse of which is us follows: — God made our bodies of all the dust That > B scattered about tho world; Tliut. we might wander in search of home. Where ever the seas are hurled. But our hearts, lie hath made of tnglish dust. And mixed it with none beside; That we might love, with an endless love. The land where our kings abide. Tho lines I should particularly recommend to Mr. Leo arc: Wherefore the while we call you Home, And dream of your gentle shires, We are rooted hero by tho smiles of our babes, And the pilgrim dust of our sires. Wailiou. H.C.H.
