KNOCKED DOWN BY LORRY
INJURIES TO PEDESTRIAN [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] WHAKATANE, Monday While proceeding along the Strand on Saturday afternoon Mr. T. Dixon, an employee at the post office, was knocked down by a truck owned by Mr. Price and driven by Mr. W. Pearson. Mr. Dixon received severe injuries to the head and shoulders through the back wheels of the truck passing over him. He was conveyed to his home where he was attended to by a doctor. It will be some weeks before Mr. Dixon is able to return to his duties.
