SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE
I BISHOP'S DENUNCIATION The Roman Catholic Bishop of Wagga, Kew South Wales, Dr. Dwyer, in a recent address said that if the people had suffered in Australia it was due to their own extravagances, such as building the Sydney Harbour Bridge, that cost millions, when it would not have been missed ,had it not been built for 200 years, and the erection of a war memorial which was neither of use nor ornament. There would have been less depression had there been less extravagance by men returned -o Parliaments.
