KENSINGTON CLUB'S SEASON [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Friday The Kensington Bowling Club opened its season yesterday afternoon in fine though overcast weather conditions. There was a large atteindance, including representatives of various northern .clubs, and the green was in splendid order. Mr. T. H. Steadman, president, welcomed the visitors and stated that although the club was passing through difficult times, there was every indication the season would be a very successful one. lie presented trophies to tho winners of last year'B competitions.
