VERDICT OF SUICIDE
A verdict of suicide was returned by the> coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the conclusion of the inquest yesterday into the death of Mrs. Catherine Bartholomew, aged 54, of Silverdale, who died at the Auckland Hospital on October 1. Mrs. Bartholomew was found three da\ 3 previously with a deep wound in her throat at a room at 22 Wolseley Street, Morningside, where she had been staying, and was admitted to the hospital in a weak state. She had previously been IS ill-health.
