RIFLE SHOOTING
METROPOLITAN GUN CLUB Matches decided on Saturday by members of the Metropolitan Gun Club resulted as follows: Seven-birds Eye-opener Match.—E. White (14yds) and F. H. Seccombe (16yds), shot the possible and took the pool. J. C. Whitney (14yds), J„ H. Gribble (14yds), A. E. Macredie (ISyda), and E. J. Schofield each shot six birds.
Fifteen-birds Mutcli.—Mr. J. H. Gribble's trophy: L. Peterson (17yds) shot the possible and won the trophy. F. H. Seccombe (16yds) was second with 34 breaks. Ten-birds Match, double rise.—E. J. Schofield (15yds), nnd C. E. Hodge (16yds) pot all their birds nnd divided the pool. F. H. Seccombe (15yds) scored nine breaks. Seven-birds Walk-up Shoot.—F. H. Seccombe, 6 breaks. 1: J. C. Whitney, 6. 2. Seven-birds Handicap (pun down).—J. C. Whitney (14yds). F. H. Seccombe (16yds) nnd E. White (14yds). all scored the possible and shot-off for the stake., when I<. 11. Seccombo won on the loth bird.

The report ehowed that the past eeason had been a fairly successful one. and that the chief competitions, those for the Kntikati and Edwards Cups, had been won by Riflemen \V.
