DEBATING CONTEST
The Y.M.C.A. Debating Club closed its season last, evening when its team defeated the Leys Institute Club team. The motion was "That the Advent of Machinery Has Caused More Harm Than Good." The winning team, which took the affirmative, comprised Messrs. K. Miller T. Fish and J. Herbert, flie Leys Club being represented by Messrs. kasley, Arthur and Luxford. The judge was Mr. Vernon T. Drew.
