FARMERS DISAFFECTED POSSIBLE ULTIMATUM DISPUTE WITH' BRITAIN 1NEGOTIATIONS OR ELECTION t / By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received September. 25, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 24 The .Dublin correspondent of the Daily Express says the farmers of the Irish FreoState will deliver an ultimatum to the Government . next week when a great meeting will vote on a motion demanding that Mr. de<Valera accept the principle of resuming negotiations ..with Britain within a fortnight or in the alternative that he shall arrange for a general election.
If Mr. de Valera ignores the demand » the farmers are determined to refuse to pay their land annuity instalments, says the correspondent.
