MARKET STILL FIRM GOOD GENERAL COMPETITION LONDON. ScDt. 23 At the London wool sales to-day 11,787 bales were offered, including 3269 from New Zealand. About 6075 were sold. Thero was good general competition at full late rates. New Zealand clips sold as follows:—Greasy halfbred, "Boscobel," top price 12£ d, average ll^tl; slipes, lialfbred lambs, "lielfast," and 10^d. RABBIT SKIN SALES At the rabbit skin sales 3008 bales were offered and 1815 were sold. Hatters' sorts were in good demand. Pulling advanced 5 per cent, compared with March, unpulled, 10 per cent. GOOD DEMAND FOR BULLS [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Saturday Prices showed a sharp advance at the bull pale held at Pukekohe yesterday by Alfred Buckland and Sons, Ltd. The entry comprised 125 bulls and competition was keen throughout. The prices realised were well in advance of late rates. All except two or three of the animals offered were sold. Jerseys predominated, with the other dairying breads fairly well represented. The top pries paid was l"a guineas, but the majority made from 10 to 16 guineas.
