OPENING OF INQUEST A widow, Mrs. Isabella Belle Kelly, aged 18, of 79 Wakefield Street, city, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on September 18 suffering from the effects of poison, died in the hospital on Friday night. At an inquest opened before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.. coroner, on. Saturday, evidence of identification was given by a sister. Witness said that deceased, on the day of her admission to hospital, told her she did not know how she came to drink "poison. She had been taking & cough mixture for a severe cold, and wit ness understood her to mean that she had mistaken a bottle of poiwn foi; the bottle containing the cough mixture. As far as witness knew, deceased had never given any indication that she intended to take, her life. Tho inquest was adjourned sine die.
