ASSOCIATION OFFICERS PRESIDENT NOT OPPOSED Nominations received for tlio positions of president, two vice-presidents, and 15 seats on tlio council of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association are:—President, Mr. S. Austin Carr; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. P. Kalaugher and M. B. Kirkbride; councillors, Messrs. W. J. Lopdell, A. E. Watkins, J. Meyer, James Wylie, TvT. G. McArthur, A. *A. Swaffield, "j. Muir, J. T. F. Mitchell, F. M. Waters, C. R. E. Mackesy, A. F. Jagger, F. J. C. Wilson, A. J. Stratford, M. Stewart. G. Bickerton-Fisher, V. H. Hatrick, John Wvllie, PL D. McLennan. An election will bo necessary only for the 15 seats on the council, for which there are 18 candidates. The retiring president is Mr. J. T. F. Mitchell, who is seeking election to the council. The new president, Mr. S. Austin Carr, is a retiring vice-president, Mr. J. P. Kalaugher retains his position as a vice-presi-dent.
