The particulars appearing in the New Zealand Herald's "On the Land " column on September 17 with respect to the control of' mammitis in Mr. E. F. Pea<;ocke's herds at Hamilton were supplied by Mr. D. F. Christie, who conducted the control system in the herd, and not by Mr. l'cacocke.
