Sept. 22 In the fourth round of the News of the World golf tournament Lacey beat Robson, 3 and 2; Perry beat Duncan, 2 and 1; Jolly beat Curtis, 2 and 1; and Cotton beat Hodson, 7 and 6. In the semi-finals Perry beat Lacey, 6 and 5, and Cotton beat Jolly at the 19th hole.
