GOOD-BYE CHUBBY
The death knell of the chubby umbrella lias been rung. At a Royal garden party a great many people brought umbrellas. 1 hey were tightly rolled and had long ferrules. I am told that this means that the rumour of shorter skirts is probably wrong,'says the writer.
