OLD COLONISTS
REUNION NEXT MONTH A reunion of old colonists will be held in Auckland on October 13, when the 89th anniversary of the formation of the New Zealand Old Colonists' Association will be celebrated. The Mayor, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, who is vice-patron, will preside. The objects of the association are to keep a record of the early settlers and their descendants and to promote a Bpirit of brotherhood among them. All thr>se who have been resident in New Zealand for over 50 years are cordially invited to enrol and attend the reunion. The Gov-ernor-General, Lord Bledisloe, is the patron, and the president is Sir Edwin Mitchelson.
