METHODIST CHURCH
PRESIDENT IN AUCKLAND In an informal reception to the president of the Methodist Conference, the Rev. M. A. Rugby Pratt, and the vicepresident, Mr. J. Voss. who are visiting Auckland, the Rev. E. D. Patchett, chairman of the district, entertained Auckland Methodist ministers at afternoon tea yesterday. A speech of welcome was made by tho Rev. Dr. C. H. Laws', and replies were given by Mr. Pratt and Mr. Voss. During the afternoon, the presidept visited the Trinity Theological College and addressed the students. To-morrow morning .he -will preach at the Epsom Methodist Church, and in the evening at the Pitt Street Church. He will leave for the South on Monday. .
