INCOME TAX CASE
BUILDER FINED £175 RETURNS NOT FURNISHED [BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Friday Failure to furnish returns of income resulted in Alfred Stonelake Bowden being fined £175 in the Police Court this morning. Defendant is a country building contractor and it was stated that his income over a period of six years prior to 1930 was £6OOO, the tax involved being £329. Three charges were preferred against him to-day.
