BURGLARY CHARGES
TWO MEN FOR TRIAL 1 » [by telegraph—press association] WELLINGTON, Friday Believing that tho evidenco in the breaking and entering charges brought against Edwin George Valentino Roberts, aged 23, and Raymond Patrick Lctton, aged 26, required consideration by a jury, Mr. L. Page, S.M., decided to-day to commit the two men to the Sup<rcmo Court for trial. Roberts and Lctton were charged with breaking and entering tho shop of Lauchlans, Limited,- Courtenay Place, and stealing jewellery to the value of £317 19s 6d. Lctton was further charged with breaking and entering the warchouso of. Schneideman .and Sons, Limited, and stealing clothing to a total value of £l2l 155.. Both accused pleaded not guilty.
