YESTERDAY'S WEATHER
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH Auckland. —There was a continuance of fine weather in x~nd yesterday, bright, sunshine being experienced throughout tha day, with only a light breeze from the south-west. The barometer remained fairly steady at 30.00 in., which was the reading at midnight. Wellington.—The weather yesterday was summerlike, with the sun shining from a cloudless sky. A light breeze blew from the south. - Christchurch. —The weather yesterday was fine with a light easterly breeze. The maximum temperature was 51 degrees. The barometer fell six points to 29.97 in. Duriedin.—Fine weather with considerable passing cloud and a light breeze from the north-east prevailed yesterday. The barometer showed little movement and registered 3Q;loin. in the evening.
