THE SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP ATTRACTION FOR TO-MORROW UNIVERSITY MEETS PONSONBY The Auckland Rugby Union'B senior championship competition will be continued to-morrow afternoon. The main attraction will be the meeting of University and Pon--Bonby on the oval at Eden Park. Ponsonby is at present level with Grammar at the head of the championship table. Last week University drew with Grammar, 20 points each, after a thrilling and exciting same. A repetition of this form to-morrow will give University a great chance of beating Ponsonby. The latter team is sure to make a bold bid for victory as a win will mean that it will play off with Grammar for the championship a fortnight hence. The curtain-raiser will be between Training College und Marisl, and this should prove a bright contest. Training College played well last week and Marist's task will not bo an easy one. Grammar will play Grafton at Gribble-Hirst Park, and should have no difficulty in maintaining its place at, tko head of the championship list. A good game should result in the meeting of Otahuhu and College Rifles at the Show Grounds and it is difficult to select the winner. Technical Old Boys will go to Onehunga to meet Manukau, which will be hard to beat on its home ground. Following are the teams:— TECHNICAL OLD BOYS Senior Grade.—Blow, Gribble, Fletcher.
