PRESENTATION
A presentation • was made at the Dargaville courthouse this week to Sergeant L. R. Capp. who has been in charge of the district for the past three and a-half years and has now been promoted to senior sergeant at Wanganui. Representatives of the legal pro/ess ion, justices of the peace, the Licensing Committee, the Licensed Victuallers' Association and Court officials were present. The presenta-. tion was made by, Mr. G. N. Morris, S.M., who presided, and eulogistic references were made to Sergeant Capp's fairness, and the exemplary manner in which he had carried out his duties. He was congratulated on his well-deserved promotion..
